Sea Pines Spring, 2010 Update

Dear Sea Pines Friends and Neighbors,

Our past mailings to you have advertised that since 2007, the agents of Clark, Cramer & Frank have closed more Sea Pines real estate transactions than any other agent or team in the entire Hilton Head Island-Bluffton area MLS (and folks, that is currently over 1200 agents).

Well, the agent rankings for 2009 full year performance have been published, and we are proud to say that our record still stands; no agent or team has closed more Sea Pines transactions! In fact, we are the number three ranked agent or team for business volume closed for the ENTIRE Hilton Head-Bluffton area.

Visitor traffic has been brisk with the return of the Easter and Tournament vacationers, and we are very optimistic for 2010 sales based on the level of sales activity and serious inquiries that we are experiencing lately. One could argue that the demand for Sea Pines properties has been pent up over the last two years, and now people are starting to feel a little more confident about moving forward with purchases, before interest rates move higher. Whatever the reason, we are excited over the recent strength of both home and villa sales, which are tracking well ahead of 2009 activity levels.

What are buyers looking for? The majority are interested in properties that they do not have to fix up or otherwise invest additional monies. To the extent that a property is in move-in condition, it is much more appealing to the largest segment of the buyers we are seeing.
